Spreading Radiance

Over 800 young girls have received sanitary towels and educational materials through our initiatives.
We encourage these young girls and teach them practical ways to excel academically.

Our initiatives have not been in vain because most of the girls we mentor earn good grades in their examination.

A fight against Teenage pregnancy

We teach these girls about personal hygiene while emphasizing their education and sexual abstinence. These sessions were exciting and yet very impactful.
Several teenage pregnancy cases were documented prior to our visit to some of these schools. The number of pregnant girls reduced dramatically last year. Only one case was recorded in one of the schools, which is a significant improvement.

We aim to completely eliminate teen pregnancy in Junior High schools.

Creativity For Behavioral Change

Young people are full of energy and zeal, but if not channeled properly, this zeal can be distracting. We believe that tapping into one's creative self is one of the most productive yet entertaining ways for young people to positively invest their time and energy.

What exactly is creativity?

Most people associate creativity with the arts, such as painting, sculpting, writing, or composing original works. In actuality, that is a fairly narrow definition.

There are numerous ways to express one's creativity, especially in this day and age.

The Creativity for Behavioural Change initiative is a program that teaches young people how to tap into and develop their creative minds. We encourage these young people to devote time to learning creative skills such as graphics design, animation, UI design, content creation, cinematography, photography, programming, game development, and so on.

This initiative is significant in the lives of young people and the country as a whole.

  • Being creative can lead to healthy hobbies that keep young people away from unhealthy hobbies and addictions.

  • Being more creative improves young people's mental health and keeps them from depression and other mental health issues,  allowing them to act without self-imposed or externally imposed constraints in pursuit of self-expression, invention, discovery, design, and problem-solving.

  • This program will help young people become critical thinkers and improve their problem-solving skills.

  • These creative abilities can be monetized as well. It can lead to a career and many entrepreneurs, reducing the rate of unemployment in Africa. The creative economy industries generate over $2 trillion in annual revenue and employ nearly 50 million people worldwide.
